My first memories of health care are sitting with her in the ER while she did her nebulizer treatments and watching her do them several times a day at home. I was always very protective of her and her experience gave me the desire to become a doctor. During my family medicine residency, I fell in love with the fast-paced, spontaneous environment of urgent care.
